First, the good. Newegg has delivered computer parts to my son and that worked. I ordered a cabinet/tool storage on the premise that they were a consumer friendly site. Couldn't be further from the truth. The cabinet arrived banged up. And a consumer could only find it useful under very rarified circumstances. I vigorously pursued returned it but any access to the company, email, chat, etc. turns into a circle. There is no access to help with a return. The company has it rigged so that you can return an item via UPS but you will receive almost no refund after doing a lot of work! They did generate pre-formulated responses repeating the same information.

If you can order from Amazon, do that instead. They offer customer service!

I'm never ordering from these guys again. I received a non-functioning product, so naturally I try to return this item. Originally I wanted to exchange for another, but noticed it is now out of stock. So then I go through the return process. I get my shipping label no problem, and send it off within a few days. When they received my return I got no notification whatsoever ever from Newegg. The only reason why I know they even received it is because I'm tracking it myself with UPS. It has now been NINE days since they received my return and no refund still. I find this unacceptable for this kind of business. They have lost any business they were going to receive from me and I will highly recommend anyone I know and care about to never do business with Newegg either. Never again will I be making this mistake of transaction

Coupon did not work, and couldn't login

Newegg has gone down hill as most reviews state. I was looking for Creative speakers the T40 series II. Both Amazon and Newegg has them for the same price but I had coupon for Newegg for $10 dollars off. Everything was simple till I tried to login and never got a code. Finally, after waiting I clicked reset password the code arrives. Then I got to check out and a red box on coupon shows: This coupon cannot be used with your email address. Searching on Google showed chat with Newegg which I was going to do till I saw the shipping options. The shipping options on Newegg use to show who they were using to ship the item (FedEx, USPS, or UPS). Now all has changed so I could not figure who was going to ship to know using the free shipping I would get the item quick. Sadly, I gave up told my self stick with Amazon as if any issues with the speakers I can return them easily and also chat with Amazon quickly.

Horrible experience and terrible customer service - AVOID

We bought two items and paid through PayPal. They shipped to some random address. By the time we realized the package had been sent to a business and tried to get it back, it was no use. The business also confirmed that they had sent the package back to Newegg! After talking to their customer service and being led on for several weeks, we then got transferred to their Claims department who also denied to issue us a refund on the grounds that the "package had been delivered". They will take your money, send your package elsewhere and lead you on just long enough that you can't do a chargeback. Lesson learned, don't get scammed and avoid them at all costs. I would put -5 stars if I could.

I purchase a 27" Dell monitor from…

I purchase a 27" Dell monitor from newegg. The technical specifications listed it as having two 2 watt
built in speakers. When I received the monitor it did not have any built in speakers. I was told the monitor was not listed with built in speakers. These people are totally deceptive in their advertisements. They ignore their own specifications and sold a different product. If they cheated my on this monitor they will cheat you by listing products than selling you something of lesser quality and then try to convince you , that you are wrong. Again please be careful with newegg they bait and switch.

I simply ordered some games....

I ordered some games. All digital, should have been simple enough. Not only did the games not come overnight, but they closed me out of my account and order information. I called them up to try to get something done and the person on the phone was terrible. Her attitude was simply atrocious. She told me that they locked me out for unknown reasons, and that the only way to get back into my account was to submit a ticket with the exact information I used during my order. The whole time her attitude towards me was as if I was a thief of some kind. I had to login to our credit card account and our paypal to find out whether we had my wifes card or mine on file (since they are both the same card, just different names) because the person on the phone would not except me telling her it was my name or hers. I figured it out and got the ticket submitted, and now I have to wait at least 24 hours to get any more information. Regardless of anything, this is simply terrible business practice, and I will not be using their company again after this.

Shop elsewhere and save yourself the headache.
There were items missing from my shipment that they refused to replace and defective merchandise in my order that made my entire system inoperable. Customer service only exacerbated the problem. Thankfully I was able to get a chargeback through my credit card company.

THEY REFUSE TO GIVE REFUND FOR CANCELLED ORDER

I talked them like 50 times they keep claim they did not charge me but they did! After cancelling other they still charged me and i talked with my bank they said there is no refund request. GO BUY FROM AMAZON THEY SUCK

Customer service

I've never been treated so badly. Tries to make an order 8 times. They froze my account. Told me to call the bank, cause that was issue. And it wasn't. They had some kind of lame reason for making me reorder 8 times and still now I've got to reorder. But still they have no access to the reason? Idk they hung up on me. And told me they had an issue but not what. Wth? Totally rude to me. I would spend your money on them.

The worst support ever

The worst support ever
They barley chat or talking to you it’s seem that they paid for the order from their pockets
I purchased with $1900 MSI laptop they charged my card after few minutes they blocked my account
I contact the support all of them have the same answers like a robot or something
Sorry we will contact the financial department to reopen your account
Well guess what I’m waiting for 2 weeks no answer
The worst support ever be careful from that store

Crap warehouse and useless customer service.

F****** headache to deal with. They sent me a shattered computer case and are dragging their ass for 2 weeks to replace it. Will never use again, most of the boxes showed across multiple orders showed up with holes in them or crushed corners so clearly their warehouse doesn't know how to hold boxes. And their refusal to expedite replacement parts has screwed my work project.

Newegg has a ridiculous return policy

Newegg has a ridiculous return policy. I understand needing to return everything you purchased, but expecting me to hold on to all of the original packaging, and having no options for someone who threw them out? After already receiving a defective item from them, I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this is a predatory and shady business practice that I cannot get behind. Shame on Newegg, I expected better.
